water sports availability, spacious bungalows, beautiful views
Dinner reservations nearly impossible, dining experience feels like a dull cafeteria!!! , buggy transport could be more frequent for a sprawling property!!!
-
missingWrote a review on Oct 12varied breakfast optionslack of dining ambience
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including an omelet station and delicious pancakes.
The closed dining area for meals felt too much like a college cafeteria, lacking any ambience.

great views , but service lacks consistency
The two-bedroom villa was clean, spacious , and had a fantastic view from the balcony. The beach, especially the one with water sports, was a highlight of our stay. The optional excursion on the calypso cat catamaran offered beautiful sights and was thoroughly enjoyable.
The service, while friendly, was often slow during peak meal times.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. they made every excursion like the catamaran trip feel effortless and fun! ! The beach access was excellent, and we especially loved the beach café overlooking the shore with amazing views. The omelette station was a delightful highlight during breakfast!
The dining area lacked the ambiance we hoped for. it felt a bit more like a cafeteria at times.

We had an amazing time enjoying the beach and trying water sports. The spacious rooms provided great views, and the food was delicious, especially at the Buccaneers restaurant. There was plenty to do, from entertainment to mini golf, and the staff often went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
One downside was the long wait times for transportation around the property, especially considering its size.

Staying at Verandah Antigua was quite an adventure, though not without its bumps. The property itself is stunning, with sprawling grounds and two lovely beaches. I loved the spacious rooms, especially with the massive balconies for sunset views. Special shoutout to Kertie, the bartender, who always had a smile and made fantastic drinks. The food was decent, particularly at the specialty restaurants, but the buffet left a bit to be desired. some of it tasted lukewarm. Room service was unreliable—one day, my room wasn't cleaned, and getting clean towels required several calls. The staff, while often friendly, sometimes seemed overwhelmed and slow, particularly during peak meal times. The wait for dinner reservations was frustrating. we could only snag a few towards the end of our stay due to limited availability. The place feels slightly understaffed at times, which affected service. Overall, it’s a beautiful place, but management could improve attention to daily operations and customer service for a better experience.
